The Foreign Language Department and East Asian Culture Society at Austin Community College are co- hosting the Asian Spring Festival 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16 at the Riverside Campus. The event is free and open to the public.
This year's festival theme is "A Taste of Asia!" Five local Asian eateries will serve free samples that best represent their culinary traditions. Korean "street" snacks, Asian sandwiches, and Filipino food will also be served. This year's colorful performances include Chinese yoyo, Hanayagi Japanese Dance Academy, ninja demo, the Filipino "Laya Dance Collective" and more.
