"Cheese" and Other Oddities, an evening of Asian American works

Don't miss this debut presentation of Lucky Chaos, a new Asian American visual arts performance group founded by Leng Wong. “Cheese and Other Oddities” will be performed at Salvage Vanguard Theater Friday and Saturday evenings, April 13 to 21 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 (student), $15 (general admission) and special group rates available. Lucky Chaos presents:
“Cheese,” a funny and touching play about a Chinese-American family dealing with generational differences;
“Forgotten Trail,” a reflective and melancholy play about a South Asian woman who during a volunteer cleaning up Town Lake finds a tricycle, triggering memories from her own life;
“Clay,” a short film about letting go narrated through a South Asian lens;
“Post Racial,” a short film about a screenwriter dogged down by political correctness (viewers get to see the writer’s story continually being reworked to make it more politically correct);
“Love, Chaos,” a series of improvisational works directed by Leng Wong exploring identity and self-expression.
