The Nominating Committee of the Network of Asian American Organizations Board of Directors presented candidates for election at the April and May NAAO Monthly Meeting. Eight candidates were elected as officers and will serve two-year terms covering July 2010 through June 2012.

The eight officers are:
President: Channy Soeur
Vice Presidents: Loc Dang, Sumit DasGupta, Paula Hui, Jennifer Kim, Mithu Rahman
Secretary: Lei Ye
Treasurer: Sarah Chen

"Please join me in congratulating Channy Soeur and our new officers. I look forward to the exciting time ahead with the new leadership team," wrote Phil Hoang, current NAAO president. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank our existing Board of Directors, and our officers, Vice Presidents Venkat Voruganti, Sumit DasGupta, Secretary Debasree DasGupta, and Treasurer Sarah Chen, for their tremendous services to the Asian American community. With your hard work, NAAO has emerged stronger as the leading organization for the community and an important partner with the City."
