The long line snaking up through the entrance and up to the second floor of the Paramount said it all about the Lea Salonga concert on Nov. 7. Fans of the Filippina Broadway star were not disappointed by the show which offered Broadway tunes, a few Disney songs, Filippino songs and others including the fun "Taylor the Latte Boy."
Lea Salonga takes you to a world of hope and good feelings. One early song was "From a Distance," a song she dedicated to her daughter, who was in the audience. And she chose to part with John Lennon's "Imagine," singing it with such power and depth of feeling that you feel the call of duty for everyone to "imagine." It was a good night to imagine world peace.
